Therapeutic Fee-for-service Program

Specialized Therapeutic Services at KIDS HUB

KIDS HUB offers on-demand, specialized therapeutic services that go beyond our standard daycare programs. These services are not automatically included in our regular childcare offering and must be purchased separately by a parent or guardian. They are delivered in collaboration with trusted independent clinical partners. Before a child can access any specialized service, a formal clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plan must be completed by a qualified professional.

Service Overview

Our Specialized Therapeutic Program is a fee for-service model designed to support children with a variety of developmental conditions, including those affecting language, behavior, metabolism, and neurodevelopment. Common diagnoses among children we serve include ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD), and other related challenges. With empathy and expertise, our consulting team uses innovative, evidence-based methods tailored to each child’s individual needs. No matter the type or severity of a disability, our goal is to help each child enhance their ability to participate fully in their community, at home, and in school.

Therapeutic Service Areas

Applied Behavior Intervention Therapy

Fostering positive behavior and building everyday skills. Our Behavior Therapy team supports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting skill development and reducing challenging behaviors in both home and community settings. We take a person-centered approach—partnering closely with the individual and their caregivers to set meaningful goals and build practical life skills. Services may include assessments, consultations, direct interventions,
or group-based programs.  We primarily use a mediator model, which focuses on empowering caregivers with the training and strategies needed to support ongoing positive behavior change.

Speech-Language Pathology Service

Helping children reach their communication potential. Children with speech or language delays benefit from targeted support to achieve their communication and developmental goals. Our Speech-Language Pathologists provide services to individuals of all ages, with a special emphasis on children under 6 years old. We offer assessments to identify communication goals, develop personalized recommendations, and train caregivers to reinforce strategies at home. Our services support both receptive language (understanding) and expressive language (speaking, signing, and use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication systems).

Transition Services

Guidance and support through key life changes. Transitions—such as moving from daycare into the school system—can be challenging and require thoughtful planning. Our Transition Services program provides emotional support and practical strategies during these times of change. Transition Coordinators collaborate with schools, school boards, and families to ensure a smooth and successful move for children with identified needs. They provide the receiving school with clinical insights, tools, and resources to ease the adjustment. We work closely with caregivers throughout this process to create a seamless, client-centered transition plan.
